Good Hands Competition 2012
For the Royal Adelaide Show Good Hands Competition 2012, the following qualification is required. “Rider must have won a first placing at an Agricultural Show in a Rider or Good Hands class OR first or second placing at a Competitors Assoc. or SHC-SA Show in a Good Hands class.” At the close of entries for the Royal Show, riders must supply relevant qualification details to H-in-A Competitors Assoc. PO Box 186, Balaklava 5461 These results will be verified against the Good Hands entries received by Royal Show. Failure to provide the information will result in inability to compete in this event. New Rule Change
Once a horse has competed as an Open (Show Horse) or Show Hunter at its first SHC competition in a Calendar Year it must remain as Open or Show Hunter at Show Horse Council run shows for that Calendar Year (January to December)
Membership
Pro Rata Membership 1st January to July 30th is available for new members: Adult $80 Junior $65. See "Membership" for further details.
NB: Failure to renew membership by 30th July will result in cancellation of Membership and Personal Accident Insurance cover.
Membership allows you to compete at any show conducted by H-in-A and SHC-SA.
Your membership now gives you 24/7 Personal Accident Insurance cover which is an added benefit.
Social Membership is available for anyone who does not intend riding (this category of membership does not provide Personal Accident Insurance. )

11. CRITERIA FOR GRAND NATIONAL QUALIFIER STATUS
12.I. At the time of Entry for the Grand National all Exhibitors/Owners/Lessees/Responsible Officers/Riders shall be members of the SHC &/or its Constituent Affiliates.
Please be aware that this rule applies to all parents/guardians of riders under 18 years of age who sign as the Responsible Officer. If you require further clarification of this By-Law please contact us.
