The Show Horse Council of SA Inc regularly holds measuring days which are run in accordance with the Show Horse Council of Australasia Inc measuring scheme and associated rules. All horses registered with the National Saddle Horse Register need to hold a current SHC official height certificate. It is the competitors responsibility to get their horse measured within 6 months of starting competition. Measuring days are advertised under the event calendar at different times of the year.
All horses competing in Grand National Qualifying events at Champion of Champions and the Australia Day Spectacular must be NSH Registered and have a SHC Official Certicate of Height.
EA MEASURING - a Measuring Representative from Horses-in-Action will be in attendance at all EA measuring days to issue SHC Official Certificates of Height.

Annual Height Certificate The Annual Height Certificate is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. A horse may be re-measured for an Annual Certificate a minimum of nine months after the date of the previous measurement certificate
Life Height Certificate Life Height certificates can be issued to horses that are at least 8 years of age and needs to have at least 3 measurements in the same class (height division) as stated on the Annual Certificate. (currently under review by SHC of Australasia Inc)

If you require a Show Horse Council Height Certificate please make sure that you attend this measuring. We will have a measuring steward in attendance. A Show Horse Council Application for Height Certificate Form must be presented at the time of measuring. Cost $10. PLEASE NOTE WE WILL NOT BE CONDUCTING A MEASURING PRIOR TO CHAMPION of CHAMPIONS
